Thanks terrorbyte. I saw a Morandi still life at the NSW gallery last weekend. (Another collection of bottles.) It was all in grey and off white tones, creating a kind of dull, soft lit, we're just here minding our own business and not getting in anyone's way atmosphere - which makes it sound dour, but it wasn't dour at all; it was beautiful.
